Large and small, thick yarns or fine, we have a drop spindle for your needs.
I am now carrying lovely hand spindles crafted by Jim Hokett of Hokett
Would Work. His works were commemoratives for HGA's Convergence in 2004
and 2006. He uses lovely domestic and exotic hardwoods, but only those
from farms, not from rainforests. I currently have top and bottom worl
spindles, support bowls that can be used with the bottom worl spindles
when using them as a support spindle. I also have some lovely
nostepindes for hand winding your newly spun yarns. They are lovely
sleek wooden implements that fit so much better into your fiber bag
than a bulky ball winder (although we also carry those if you prefer to
use them.).
The spindles range in weight from 0.5 oz all the way up to 3 oz. The heavier ones are all bottom whorl drop spindles that have a lovely soft point and can be used as support spindles as well.
